Sour Garlic x Honey Banana is a feminized, sativa-dominant hybrid that was bred by crossing the two strains Sour Garlic and Honey Banana. Growers will discover a very rewarding, and relatively straightforward, strain that delivers high yields of euphorically energizing buds.
Sour Garlic x Honey Banana is most at home when cultivated outdoors in a warm and sunny climate. This does not mean that indoor growers won't be successful, but growers should switch to flowering when their plants are about half as tall as they want the mature plants to be. Fortunately, this is a strain that adapts well to LST such as SCRoG.
Indoor flowering times are in the region of 9 - 10 weeks, while outdoors in the northern hemisphere harvest should be ready in mid-October, before the weather turns wetter and cooler. The buds are nice and frosty, green and amber in color. A good strain for extract makers.
The main terpenes are myrcene, limonene, and caryophyllene, producing a musky, sweet, spicy scent with sweet 'n' sour flavors of banana and citrus. THC levels are medium to high, and the effect is very uplifting and energizing - perfect for daytime and late afternoons.
Therapeutic uses may include to help with anxiety and depression.
