Chocolope Kush is a feminized seed strain that was bred by crossing the sativa-dominant Chocolope with the indica-dominant Kosher Kush. The latter has won many competitions and is regarded as a very potent strain. Chocolope Kush is an easy to grow strain that even the beginner can have success with and produce good yields.
Chocolope Kush - Cultivation
Chocolpe Kush exhibits a degree of phenotypical variation, such that growers can select either more sativa-dominant or the more prevalent indica-dominant plants to take cuttings for future use. It is highly recommended to pinch the tops of the plants to reduce stretch and to make plants bushier and more productive. Indoors, flowering times are in the region of 9 weeks with some very good yields of between 500 - 600gr/m2. Plants have a good resistance to mold and so can withstand increased humidity levels making them more versatile regarding climate and conditions.
Chocolope Kush - Terpenes
The dominant terpenes are Myrcene, limonene and caryophyllene. The scent of Chocolope Kush is pungent, sweet and earthy with hints of burnt chocolate and vanilla. Flavors are like a sweet, rich, mocha coffee with hints of nuts and a sweet kush on the exhale. Depending on the phenotype, plants display either more Kush or more Chocolope character in terms of scent and flavor.
Chocolope Kush - Effect
THC content is between 17 - 20% while CBD reaches a maximum of 1%. The happy, positive effect is an uplifting blend of euphoria and cerebral energy, leading to relaxation, the munchies and, ultimately, sleepiness.
Therapeutically recommended for the relief of pain, depression, insomnia and lack of appetite.
